Atlantic City Casino Revenues Decrease in July

atlantic-city-new-jersey-shoreline-75x75Compared to the same period last year, the gambling revenues of the casinos in Atlantic City dropped down by 6.6%. According to the figures of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Atlantic City casinos are struggling and generated $264.2 million for the month. The only casinos that have brought in positive financial results are the Golden Nugget, Tropicana, Resorts and Harrahs. For 2014 land revenues decreased 7.2% to just $1.55 billion. The online gambling industry, on the other hand, is still holding on and has generated revenues of $73.1 million for the year and $10.1 million during the month of July.
