Gambling Addict Faces Prison for Stealing to Gamble

ipswich-crown-court-75x69A gambling addict from Great Britain working as an engineer is facing a long prison sentence after he admitted to stealing £151,707 from his employer to gamble on the Internet. In the Ipswich Crown Court, the 47 year-old Stephen Endreson admitted to having stolen money from food conveyor manufacturer Wrightfield Ltd. He said that he stole money during the past eight months this year. The final verdict will take place on 12 August 2014. Endreson is expected to face a lengthy jail term. In addition, he may also have his assets seized in order to help repay some of the money he had stolen.
