Aristocrat, a specialist in gaming and casino management systems, finally completed the acquisition of US competitor Video Gaming Technologies. Under the deal, Aristocrat bought VGT for approximately $1.3 billion (€1 billion). VGT will now be run as a business unit of Aristocrat and it will offer casino gaming products like slots to Aristocrat contributing to the growth of the company and its revenue. The chief executive officer and managing director of Aristocrat Jamie Odell is happy about the completion of the transaction and points out the great reputability of both VGT and Aristocrat.
