Nevada’s Revenues Have Fallen, Profit from Slots Has Increased

las-vegas-sky-line-75x75Nevada and the Strip have witnessed a fall of monthly gaming revenues. However, the reports are not completely negative thanks to the surprising growth of slots revenues. More than a 35 percent drop was spotted in baccarat; nevertheless, during October the slots revenue grew for almost 7 percent to $260.6 million. The numbers released by the Nevada State Gaming Control Board showed that the casinos’ overall profit fell for 4.35% to $913.6 million, while those of the Strip went down for 5.6% to $520.3 million.
