Ultimate Gaming, the first regulated real money online gambling site, ended its operations in New Jersey on 21 September 2014 after 19 months in the business. The website credited players’ accounts with earned bonuses and it started refunding players’ balances on 3 October 2014. In a statement, the chairman at Ultimate Gaming Tom Breitling said that the gambling revenue in Nevada fell short of the once big projections. The legalization of online gambling created a very costly and challenging gambling environment, he added.
