Nevada’s Governor’s Office of Economic Development gave a thumbs up to $2.5 million in economic incentives for Scientific Games Corporation and its subsidiary to cover the costs of building a sound stage of 40,000 square feet and setting up Monopoly Millionaires’ Club, a popular TV game show. This means that the headquarters of Scientific Games, the world’s second largest slot game manufacturer, may be relocated from New York to Las Vegas. According to company officials, the relocation would create 200 jobs in Southern Nevada. In addition, the company is going to invest $4.8 million to develop local facilities.
