Nevada Earned Over $11 billion in Gambling Revenue in 2014

las-vegas-sky-line-75x75Nevada’s gambling authorities have revealed the complete figures for the state’s 2014 gambling revenues. According to the numbers, the industry earned over $11 billion from gamblers which is 1.1% down from the numbers in 2013. Nevada casinos gained $11.14 billion in revenues throughout 2014. The gambling wins on the Las Vegas Strip went down 2.1% to $6.37 billion last year, while those of Downtown Vegas went up by 2.1% to $511.4 million. The numbers from December 2014 showed that the revenue numbers across the state fell 8% to $950.7 million. The most important operations on the Las Vegas Strip suffered a 16.4% downfall at $555.2 million.
