Pfizer Settles Gambling Addiction Lawsuits with Parkinson’s Sufferers

table-game-gambling-75x75Patients with Parkinson’s disease who weren’t warned well about the side effects of the Pfizer medications to treat their symptoms reached a settlement in the lawsuits against the company. Sufferers who used Cabaser and Dostinex claimed that they had developed gambling and sex addictions after taking the drugs, despite the fact that they did not have similar preexisting problems. Pfizer settled with 172 patients who took these drugs between 1996 and 2010 for the damaging side effects.
