Presidential Hopefuls Re-Introduce Adelson-Inspired iGaming Bill

Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio from the Republican Party, who are running for President of the US, re-introduced the online gambling bill heavily inspired by billionaire Sheldon Adelson a day ago. The US Wire Act is a federal measure designed to ban all forms of online gambling regardless of the rights of the US states. They both denied that this has something to do with Adelson and his influence as a donor to the Republican Party. Instead, they said that they challenge the Department of Justice legal opinion from four years ago that the Wire Act of 1961 applies only to sports betting and not to online gambling.
