888 Holdings has recently acquired Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment for £898 million and now the company outlines its plans. Chief operating officer Itai Freiberger told the news that the sports betting department at Bwin would provide more impetus and savings for 888’s sports betting business. In addition, despite the brand differences, a new poker powerhouse will be created thanks to the successful operations of PartyPoker. Furthermore, the strategy for Bwin’s b2b gaming technology operation will depend on how successful it will be in the future. The deal is expected to greatly boost the revenue of 888 in the first year after completion.
