The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) paid out 1.1 million dollars to nine casino players that had been affected by a software glitch on one of their slots. After an audit of their slot games, the company found out that their slot Wizard of Odds didn’t pay out at the advertised RTP. The glitch remained undetected for about a year. A spokesperson from BCLC said that they have recently discovered a fault in this slot and informed players. He also said that players affected by the glitch will be reimbursed. If you have played the slot between July 16, 2014 and June 11, 2015 you should contact the company and the casino to see if you are owed any compensation.
