MGM Resorts Wants to Build a $1b Casino Resort in Atlanta, Georgia

mgm-resorts-international-logo-75x75MGM Resorts International, a well known and reputable casino operator, wants to build a casino gaming venue worth $1 billion dollars in Atlanta, a city in Georgia, if the state authorizes casinos within its borders. The company sees Atlanta as a beautiful market for its planned gaming venue which would feature a casino, a live entertainment venue, a luxurious hotel and other non gaming amenities. However, Georgia is one of the many US states that have yet to authorize casinos and governor Nathan Deal remains opposed to it. But Deal is not entirely opposed to gambling having approved a state lottery on the Internet in 2012.
