Republican Presidential Hopeful Attacked for Supporting RAWA

campaign-for-liberty-logo-75x60Norm Singleton, a member of the US action group Campaign for Liberty, attacked Republican presidential candidate Mark Rubio for his support in the Restoration of America’s Wire Act, a law intended by ban online gambling in the US nationwide which was recently introduced to the Senate by Sen. Lindsey Graham. Singleton believes that Rubio supports RAWA because he wants billionaire Sheldon Adelson to help fund his 2016 campaign, even though Rubio has denied this. In Singleton’s opinion, RAWA tramples on the powers of the US states reserved to them under the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution. Currently, individual states can legalize online gambling if they want to do so under the protection of the 10th Amendment. Singleton claims that this sets dangerous precedents for the future.
