According to the latest Gallup poll, two-thirds of US adults consider gambling to be morally okay. The survey includes randomly sampled Americans that were interviewed via phone (landline and mobile). The published results show that 67% of those that took part revealed that gambling, in their opinion, was a morally acceptable behaviour; in contrast, only 27% saw it as morally wrong. This number is identical with the one noted on a similar poll by Gallup conducted last year. For the record, additional subjects included in the study that have been seen as far less acceptable than gambling include polygamy (14%), suicide (18%) and cloning humans (13%).
